We may not recognized the Huskers this year. Matt Ruhle has been busy since taking over in Lincoln. According to this tweet from Chris Vannini, the Huskers have brought in 40 new players, counting both high school recruits and transfers. That's a BIG number. Look at the numbers for these programs -- though they all have experienced a coaching change, which is the reason for the large turnover.
As we know, there are 20 new Wildcats -- 19 high schoolers and one transfer. The Cats have a lot of work yet to do in the portal. So far, they've lost eight and gained one.
