CC is great all by himself but having his Dad so close to the program adds a superstar quality to the whole gig. When I hear the guys talking about talking with Doug or being with him casually, it is really impressive. There are only a hand full of people more connected in the BB world. It is close to BB royalty. There might be a few people more impressive but not many are as naturally just around the program.

Sure hope Mark Smith and family were watching, together with about a dozen key 2018 recruits with NU offers. As great as we feel about the program, and for good reason, that 2018 class is going to define our immediate post B-Mac ... Lindsey ... Law hoops fortunes. Can CCC and staff step up their recruiting off of unprecedented success, game day atmosphere/support, media exposure and facility improvements? Will we have a never before seen cool factor among 2018 recruits? I sure hope so. CCC's vision of sustained success will become a reality when recruits no longer have to defend their decision to wear Purple & White.
