From the Tribune ...

I guess customers in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, NJ, Ohio and Pennsylvania are safe.

Outside of that, if you're football guy, you better start making your plans for September.

The landscape of sports broadcasting is changing again. I wonder what's going to happen to these networks.

So Maryland Terrapin territory is being left out of Big Tenviewing area? That’s a bad idea by somebody!!!

I had read another story that included Maryland.

Either way, seems crazy not to include New York, given the conference's efforts to make hay there as well as the sheer number of conference alums there, and Florida/Texas/California, given the ties to multiple bowl games and the same point about alums.

According to the article, "Comcast’s spokesman pointed out it does not serve the New York City market, so this move should not affect people there."

Slingbox just got worthwhile again. Stick it in a Chicago friends basement

comcast stinks anyway

Be that as it may, for those in the Big-10 hinterlands it was greatly relied on. (As apartment dwellers, satellite delivery isn't an option for us.). I'm furious about the channel being dropped.

And yet they carry SEC and PAC in BT area. Is this saying it is no longer in the normal package or no longer available period? It wouls seem it is more of a negotiation tactic

Does this mean longer term the BIG10 Network distributions will be declining to the schools? That could be a big change for schools that have gotten used to the sugar high

Possibly or it might increase BTN to go sales.

This also diminishes the recruiting aspect of the BTN. Part of the great thing about it is that it got Northwestern athletics into the living rooms of recruits in Texas and California and Georgia and Florida.

BTN2Go is great. I have relied on International package for years.

BTW, LouV, rivals is no longer accessible from Germany. I’m on VPN through the US now. Denied access started a few days ago.
