Almost anything runs through the Illinois State/NU/Pitt channel. I've checked this website out for years and just about every year the path through the highest ranked one-loss team runs through the cats given our propensity to beat a few teams we shouldn't and sometimes gag on cupcakes. I guess that's what makes being a fan of NU about as interesting and agonizing as possible.
