Did anyone else catch (or have familiarity) with the tear-down/rebuilding that KAH referred to following the dynastic decade in the early 2000s? She seems to infer that it was not sufficient to “reload” with talent, but that some significant changes had to happen to get back to the basics these past few years. Maybe those changes happened with recruiting approach, leadership development, team culture….

I really have no insights, but was surprised to hear of the heavy lift, and the amazing outcome last and this season. Especially this season. The lady laxers looked like they were having so much fun on and off the field. Smiles everywhere, which if expected the way they dominated, but it seems they played differently and much more cohesively as a team to achieve that domination.

Anyways, add that rebuild to the MBB and i wonder if Fitz and the new coaching regime can turn it around in similar fashion. Hopefully they are sharing best practices as they all seem to thrive when developing high impact players that are lightly recruited or from outside sport (See extensive list of KAH Teewarton trophy finalists like kjellman, scane, taylor, etc)

Fingers crossed that the rebuild is more like KAH/CCC and Iowa state versus just a facelift on the senior coaching ranks.
