Darrell Hazell screws up again

Hazell promoted Terry Malone to OC from TE coach. Malone spent most of his career as OC of Michigan and TE coach of the New Orleans Saints. So serious question Darrell... why would you hire a guy who spent the vast majority of his career in a pro style offense when you're an offensive coach and you run the spread? Why don't you find a guy running the spread at a place like Southern Miss and poach a coordinator? Or how about a position coach at an Ohio State... or even Oklahoma State.

Bigger question is why you wouldn't bring in fresh blood. Coaching changes aren't always about good or bad coaches but needing a fundamental change in the condition. He's just making the team eat stale bread.

Yes... That too. If Malone was such a great offensive coach, then why weren't he and Shoop (and Hazell) a great combo? Only way is if Shoop was so bad that he ruined good coaching talent.
