Don't sleep on Ohio State

They beat Michigan State.

(Just had to do that, since that's the theme of the board nowadays!)

Not a good match up for us. Buckeyes are long and large and athletic with fouls to give. And they may have figured out vs. MSU how not to beat themselves.

Another strong test of how far Collins has brought the team.

Agreed, but we catch a break that Bates-Diop isn't coming back tho. He had the potential to be their best player this season. It's still isn't a great matchup due to the size, but Bates-Diop would have made it worse

If we're going to win the Big 10 this year, we got to beat this type of team. This is the year.

I feel like Ohio State is our mountain to climb (in both FB and BB). We compete with them from time to time, but we find a way to lose every time. If we can beat OSU on Sunday, that will be a very symbolically important victory.

They might be the one Big 10 team with a shorter bench than NU's. Gotta win this game.

Nebraska will put the Buckeyes out of their misery tomorrow! I guarantee it! They will be wounded ducks when we start raining threes down on them!

No worries. Nebraska had their best player hurt and still almost won. Pardon ( as in Dererk) my optimism but we are gonna go into St. Johnson arena and beat the Buckeyes by 13 or more!

It's St. John Arena, and if we go there we'll lose by forfeit. That is now the home of the OSU Women's team:

OSU Men now play in Value City Arena.

The women's hoops team also plays at Value City Arena. The St John Arena appears to be a volleyball venue.

If Value City Arena is the next generation of basketball arenas for OSU, then you could make a case that it is the son of St. John Arena. Thus, St. Johnson Arena is an appropriate name for it. I, for one, am just starting to recognize the subtle genius of our pal the Wrassler.

Hard to argue with that logic.

Didn't we almost beat OSU with Carmody and only lose by like a point a few years? I remember watching one year way back when Tavarus Hardy was starring for us during the BIG tourney and we almost did it too. If we do beat them this time around, I see big things in our future. Maybe this year CC can out-do Fitz and come through with a big W for us all. That would be delightful.

I'm tired of letting dOSU escape with last second victories. I'm not sleeping until the whistle blows at the end of our win in Columbus.

I will be trying to sleep for several years. Someone please wake me shortly before tipoff of each NU game.
