I don’t see it. Dr Schill gave him a vote of confidence and the board of trustees gave Dr Schill a vote of confidence. Perhaps the university will stand by him.
Ha! I think we've seen that Schill doesn't do his job, and I suspect he'll react the same way to this report that he did to the Daily: he'll dispatch with Gragg in hopes that he can save himself. Hopefully this time that strategy won't work for either one of them.
Just remember: this is the guy NU chose to replace the AD candidate implicated in a lawsuit by cheerleaders about being groped in the tailgates.

I don't even know what to say at this point. I don't think quotes from 2015 should be a reason that he goes. But... at this point any reason that he goes, I suppose I would grudgingly tolerate it. ha yeah that aspect of it was dumb as i alluded to in my above messages. i think the only part that is really an issue for him if anyone reads it is the "women are a distraction" as a chapter title and theme. which, he may have a point in a general sense, but can easily be used against him. it's all pretty silly, no doubt. but he and shifty shill used unsubstantiated accusations along with the media mob frenzy to fire fitz and have dodged any accountability or honesty throughout this whole process. so if he gets caught up in the silly circle of gotchas then... i won't feel too sorry for him.

This. This thread title is fake news because Gragg did not say it. In fact, he criticises the media when it portrays women that way. There are much, much better, more valid reasons to fire Gragg, and this is an illustration of how easy it is to get people fired based on misinformation and mob rule. That said, the chapter title about women being a distraction is not defendable.

Why? This is the biggest scandal to hit the school since point shaving and maybe worse. Many of us have strong feelings as a result. Most of us don’t have a circle of NU fans to discuss the topic.
Even as PKK, you must have some strong feelings you want to get out. An opportunity to blame, rant and rave. And you aren’t screaming at the clouds, you are here attacking other NU fans - your right.

It shows how taking somthing out of context can complely change the focus and meaning of a statement, But I also see nothing wrong with the title of a chapter. Also depends on who he felt his audience was, Women can definitely be a distraction from reaching ones goals. Depending on who one is attracted to, so can men. Reasonable to be aware of it so that one can keep things in balance. Lots of things can be distractions but someone that a person is sexually attracted to has the potential to be one of the biggest. Did not say that it could not be welcome, just that it had the potential to be a distraction

Yes, reading the quote in context, it's not something Gragg should be fired over. There's plenty of legitimate material to fire him over without quoting him out of context.
This is really a textbook example of the media pile on and them going for the jugular. Shoddy journalism.

Yeah I just meant that this was the first thing he had commented on out of the whole saga. But you are right I was out of line with that comment, know that Pschatz has been a long time poster and supporter of the program. Didn’t deserve the snark from me. Sorry @pschatz25 for being a message board turd… I was a few drinks in after a work related event last night and opened the board up, started reading about Gragg and it just got me all pissed off again. So my apologies.
You're good, @ricko654321. And if you're wondering, the reason I decided to make that post was because it was easy. The original post was clearly clickbait and I thought I should point that out for those who didn't realize it. Most of the other current conversations on the board are more challenging and I haven't felt like getting involved. Yet.
