Just saw that former NU LB Andrew Smith is a member of our recruiting staff. Nice to see Drew back in Evanston. Smith was a Cincy to NU flip back in the day.

Smith, a 6-2, 200 lbs LB from Cincinnati (Corelain), OH just learned he was academically accepted after his latest round of test scores came in. According to the report, Smith, the 16th commitment of the 2011 class had committed to Cincinnati after learning his English section of the ACT was not up to par. Smith had wanted to go to NU all along and now gets his wish over the likes of Cincinnati, Minnesota, and Stanford".
