With the lull in the action until Spring ball starts, thought I would start a very early discussion on NU's top targets thus far. We already have 4 verbal commits and all 4 look like nice additions that were prioritized nice and early. Some of early offers are really starting to blow up and it is a testament of how good a job the staff has done of identifying talent before others do. We need to take advantage of the momentum of the 10 win season and facilities upgrades. I won't embarrass myself by breaking down the film and will let others that are better than it chime in if they wish.

QB
Kasim Hill - Washington DC
Jack Coan- West Sayville, NY
Two 4 stars that either would be a welcome addition. Hill is a monster and would perfect in our O. Maryland is making him a priority and as of now may be leader. PSU in the picture, but less worried about them as they already have a 2017 commit. Coan looks very good too. Not as athletic on film as Hill, but hardly a statue either. I like him a lot. Rutgers is main competition now, but I can see others jumping in later. Katrenick from IL or Garbers from CA may be Plan B.

RB
Eno Benjamin - Wylie, TX
Only offer. Will be tough to pry him away from the big boys.

WR
Cody White- Walled Lake, Michigan
Cameron Sullivan-Brown- Laurel, MD
Danny Davis - Springfield, Ohio
White is the most realistic hope here. Visited last year and seems interested. Hope MSU doesn't jump in. Whisky is a threat too, but I give us a shot. CSB probably stays in stare and Davis will be a top target of plenty of the big boys. We likely see new offers of our next tier soon.

TE
Jack Marwede- Wilmette, IL
Trey Pugh- Plain City, OH
Hopefully we have the home field advantage with Marwede. He's blowing up and has impressive offer list. Comes down to if he wants to play close to home or not. Pugh has a nice offer list too, if OSU offers, take him off the table.

OL
Rashawn Slater- Sugarland, TX Verbal
Sam Gerak- Avon, OH Verbal
Michael Miranda- Stow, OH
Blaise Andries- Marshall, MN
Joel Honigford- Sugarcreek, OH
Ethan Wiederkehr- Shoreham, NY
Great start with Slater and Gerak. Much like last year I think the OL spots may fill up faster than any other position group. Miranda seems to currently be a NU lean. Like our chances. Andries also seems very interested and home state Minny will be the completion as of now. Honigford is a long shot and expect him to go to a name program. Wiederkehr will depend a visit at the end of the month. Like what we are doing in this space.

Left off a few names that I think we have .0001 chance to land. Many of the 2017 class aren't on the radar now, but I was bored so hopefully we can land a few of these .
