If you only look at it from the angle it was intended, I love it. When things get tough (when they suck) quit whining about it and fight through. Tommy Doles is going to make a heck of a leader in the armed forces when he graduates.

That is pat of it. It is a motto to apply to failure or set backs.
I confess I don't like the trite "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Line either.

Only time I liked was accross the chest of a former NU women's basketball player. I stared a second too long at the compelling message and she reminded me, "It's a quote from our HC!" and she moved a safer distance from the elderly horn dog zone.
