Unfortunately I've got an appointment under the knife tomorrow to fix a fractured clavicle from a biking accident, so I'm likely to be a bit out of it for a few days.

Fortunately God has a sense of humor, given that the 'Cats are playing on Yom Kippur Friday night, so I expect you all to follow tradition and think about all of the terrible things you've done over the past year, such as watching a Friday night NU football game for example, and seek forgiveness from those who you have wronged. I expect it to be a proper kumbaya scene when I get back in action.

Time to start the rant threads. Who wants to talk about the presidential campaign?

It's a relatively easy procedure. The worst part is what you have already been through. Had the same procedure after taking a motorcycle roll off my horse 12 years ago.

After having a couple of bikes stolen on campus when I was working at the UC San Diego campus I gave up cycling. I bought a new bike to ride around during the pandemic and decided I was correct in giving up cycling in my elder years, too many crazy drivers and too many opportunities to get injured falling/crashing. I ended up selling it to my physical therapist! It was a good fit for her.

How’s the horse?

You voting for the good guy yet? :p
