The Citrus Bowl was my first experience watching Wildcat football (or any TV) with my 2 year old. We turned it on in time for Ramsey’s beauty of a touchdown run.

I’m a stickler about exposing young children to blue light / TV screens - some would call me adamant about it. I refuse to let my sons see my phone screen, strongly suggest others do the same, and usually only turn on the TV when they’re both upstairs in bed.

But he just turned 2 and I’ve read minimal TV time is OK at that age. My wife has been letting him watch YouTube videos during “times of necessity” and had her hands full with our infant downstairs, so I figured What the Hell. He loves games and we read dozens of books featuring animals a day.

“Son, do you want to watch the Purple Cats play?”
“YES!”

He really seemed to enjoy it. At commercial he demanded that I play the tiger song... still not sure what that is... but when they came back on he was intrigued. I didn’t care a lick about football until my junior year so maybe he’ll get interested sooner.
