So it comes down to this: NU needs to win it’s final regular season game tonight to finish with a winning overall record. Raise your hand if you predicted that at the beginning of the year.

BMac is playing, Vic Law is out, so the Cats will once again have a short bench tonight.

Ash is out also. Just not the same team defensive wise without law and Ash.

I wish NU got Garza. First time watching him live -- the guy is impressive.

Northwestern recruited Luka Garza out of DC hard but lost out to Iowa. He's on fire right now for the Hawkeyes with seven early points.

Sloppy game so far. I'm encouraged by Iowa's weak D, and waiting for our scorers to take advantage. It seems that this season, when we start the game scattered and behind, we usually get it together as the game progresses.

Iowa is killing it early. They are shooting 70 percent and are 4-7 on 3s. NU's defense...yeesh.

Malnati in already. Wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t see McIntosh again. This game means nothing to us. Get healthy and ready for Thursday.

One positive take-away from the announcers: both are raving about the new WRA, and that the 7,000 capacity will make it a loud, raucous home court advantage. Similar to that at Gonzaga.

Give the Hawkeyes their night. They haven’t had many this year. Sit Pardon, Lindsey, and McIntosh and get to NYC with a healthy and rested team.

Really, this is the point we're at? Let them have their way? So sad. How about some pride, from anyone?

If we win, we play PSU on Thursday. If we lose, we lose PSU on Thursday.

This game has no meaning. Play hard. Of course. But the most important thing by far from this game is keeping/getting key players healthy.

I understand that. It's still embarrassing to get blown out by a team that's won 3 conference games.

That was a good one. This one was equally as good, but I was in the building for it, so I give it a slight edge.

I'll always give a +1 for the Michael Jenkins Steak-n-Shake game. As a student, the athletic department was running a promotion for a free shake if NU scored 75 points in a game that year, which later was dropped to 60 points due to the offensive ineptitude of the 'Cats. This game was the first and only game where they hit 75, and as we rushed the court, I'm still not certain whether we were more excited about the win or the shake.
