It may be anti-climactic after Wednesday night, but there is a big-game buzz here at Welsh-Ryan once again. Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery and Grant Hill are here to do the game for CBS Sports, and I saw Michelle Steele of ESPN here, too. JA Adande is in the house as a fan. It's also the earliest arriving sellout I've ever seen here. This placed with packed 15 minutes before tip.

They just saluted seniors Nate Taphorn and Sanjay Lumpkin. Lumpkin was moved to tears. It was a great moment -- but you wonder how he'll react at the outset of the game.

We'll see how NU handles Biggie this time. He tore them out last time at Mackey.

Must be incredible. I wish I could be there. The closest thing I saw to that energy in Welsh Ryan was stopping in to see CCC in his final high school game. Also, in my freshman year, Duke came to town and that was pretty loud.

Nice Senior day celebration Sanjay was visibly moved.

Let's go Cats!

Can I say I like choosing the traditional white and purple today. No gimmicks.

It's LOUD in there on tv. Can barely hear the announcers. Great job fans - keep it up!

Both teams playing at high speed and high energy, trying to establish a lead.

It's a good thing this is the last game at Welsh-Ryan because I think the roof it gonna come off today. Lawdy, it's loud in here.

Too bad the Skelly three isn't working. That would change PU's defense. Now they'll continue to clog the paint,. Good effort on D and the boards though.

Skelly looks a little too jazzed atm. That was a pretty alley oop and a couple wide open looks. But their D is doing nicely :)

I focused on Brown when he was in there, and he was turned around on every defensive possession. Maybe its his defense that has found him more bench time.

We may or may not win, but we're playing at a high level, and certainly playing hard. Keep it up Cats, and yeah, go ahead and win this mutha.

Brown doesn't play defense! Good ball handler, but too small! Ash looked sensational in there! If Skelly didn't blow three scoring opportunities,Brown would be third string the rest of his career! Ash really sees the floor well and plays great defense! Party is over for Brown! He came in and they went on 9-0 run!

I'd like to see Pardon get some more shots. He's got some game in the post. Make Biggie and Haas work on the defensive end.

How about that spinning baseline floater from BMac? What was the degree of difficulty on that one? Don't try that at home, kids.
