Very solid win for the Wildcats (without Julian Roper) over a depleted Nebraska team (missing 2 starters).
Ty Berry responded well to his additional minutes, leading the way, as reflected in his Player Adjustment of +9.8.
Robbie Beran ended up with a +25 in 24 minutes of action, although he didn't score a point. He did have 3 assists which is his best total in 2 years. The team played extremely well when he was on the floor. He only played 3 of the last 13 minutes after NU had taken a 58-37 lead.
When Nicholson and Beran were paired in the frontcourt we obliterated Nebraska 29-13 over 13 minutes.
When Beran and Barnhizer were paired, we outscored the Huskers 14-6 over 7 minutes.
When Nicholson or Verhoeven were teamed with Barnhizer, Buie, Audige and Berry, we actually lost 13-8 in about 6 minutes.
