Not much to say with this one. I left out the last 10 seconds or so.
Windham and Clayton both struggled, though Windham had no turnovers and Clayton had only 1.
As a team we had 14 assists and 16 turnovers. (Martinelli 4, Mullins 3, Berry 3, Nicholson 2, Ciaravino 2)
Keenan Fitzmorris was a -6 but he had 6 rebounds, 4 on the offensive end, so he emerged as the most positive impact for NU.

Blake Smith and Luke Hunger did not play as we let a 50-32 lead (at 15:31) disappear.
Smith still has not played one second since he was the replacement for Jalen Leach in the USC game.
In hindsight, it probably would have been worth trying Hunger at the 4 in this one, since Nebraska was so small, but thats an afterthought.

I was very surprised to see that we were 5 of 17 on 3 pointers in the first half, but only 2 of 3 in the 2nd half.
Not sure if Nebraska adjusted to guard the perimeter or we adjusted our offense to go inside.
For the game we were 19 of 52 inside the arc, including 12 of 34 in the 2nd half.

Angelo Ciaravino looked pretty solid out there, with 4 offensive rebounds in 12.6 minutes. Two of those were rebounds of his own misses.
Of all the possible combinations, the one we didn't see too much was Ciaravino with Mullins.
Collins had Clayton or Windham at the point the whole game, so Ciaravino and Mullins can only play together when Berry or Martinelli is sitting.
In those short segments, we outscored Nebraska 9-2 over 5:18. Nicholson was the center for all of that.

Jordan Clayton played better defensively, so that's modest progress.

KJ has to start making those threes. From my eye, he took almost every one of his shots within the offense and when he should have, so I like that. Clayton popped off a couple of shots like he was trying to make something happen - poorly timed and awkwardly. That was much more depressing to me than KJ missing shots he was supposed to take.

Gelo and Mullins should get plenty of time together next season.
In hindshight I would have liked seeing them together on Sunday. Gelo had a decent game in limited minutes.

Small ball with Martinelli at 5, especially when NE does not exactly play big, might have been a good answer for our offensive 2nd half problems. But this is all in hindsight, as we know what an s*** show our offense was in the last 3/4 of the 2nd half.

The fact that we only shot 3 three pointers in the 2nd half strikes me as really strange.

I didn't notice it during the live action, but I have to assume Nebraska was all over Ty Berry, while everybody else was either told not to shoot 3's or they were afraid to.
