I threw out the last 1:12, in which neither team really tried to score.

This was probably our worst team effort since the Leach injury. The total of our Box Points was only 20.55. This measures and aggregates good things from the box score, like rebounds, made baskets and steals, while subtracting missed shots and turnovers. The prior low total was 25.15 from the Nebraska game.

If there was a game ball to give out, it went to Nick Martinelli, who got some support from Justin Mullins, despite his -14.

KJ Windham did not have a good game. Neither did Luke Hunger and Keenan Fitzmorris. But the team played alright with Windham on the court, outscored 46-44, mainly because Windham missed 8 shots and only made 2.

When Mullins and Clayton were on the court together, we got outscored 24-14 in 10:39.
When Fitzmorris was out there, we got outscored 19-10 in 7:14.

On the positive side, Nicholson/Martinelli/Mullins/Berry/Windham played to a 24-19 advantage over 10:17.
In the prior game, that same lineup played to a 34-26 advantage over UCLA in about 17 minutes.

To me, thats generally our best lineup, although I'd still like to see Ciaravino get some time for Mullins with that group.

On to the Big Ten tournament.

It’s time for the lineup you like, to actually start the game.
