Not a very elegant exit as his ejection from yesterday's BTT game marks his last appearance on the Iowa sideline. Can we blame this one on CCC too?
Yes, we beat Iowa. Check their board and see what they think of NU,Not a very elegant exit as his ejection from yesterday's BTT game marks his last appearance on the Iowa sideline. Can we blame this one on CCC too?
I can see where they are coming from. Yes, he got them to the dance 7 times (and would've been 8 if not for COVID), but he never got them past the 2nd round, was upset in back to back seasons (2021 with sr. year Garza as a #2 in the 2nd round and 2022 with Keegan Murray as a #5 in the 1st round), and has been trending in the wrong direction the past four seasons. The offense isn't elite anymore, and the defense has gone from mediocre to terrible. I think it's the right move, there are definitely a number of midwestern up-and-comer coaches in lower leagues who would jump at the opportunity.I don't know anything about him outside of the arena, and I won't miss his court side antics. At all.
This seems like another case of school/fan expectations outpacing reality. The guy got Iowa to the dance 7 times in his 15 years and has an overall winning record.
It looked he got the second T for yelling "That's ****ing bullshit!" Is that really enough to get tossed? Coaches swear all the time.Did you see that toss yesterday? He obviously said the wrong words b/c he was incredibly low on the Franometer. There was nothing ... zilch ... nada that close to physically outrageous.
Having said that, I will not miss that pud at all. INCREDIBLY overrated.
Hmm. Well, worst of luck to them going forward.I can see where they are coming from. This is good, but the scale should be reversed. I guess that’s how Iowa people do things.RIP FRANCON alert system...

It’s a parody of the Defense Readiness Condition (DEFCON). On that scale, 1 is the highest level of alert (nuclear war imminent) and increasing numbers mean decreasing level of alert. This is good, but the scale should be reversed. I guess that’s how Iowa people do things.
That's all good, but my DEFCON meter goes to 11.It’s a parody of the Defense Readiness Condition (DEFCON). On that scale, 1 is the highest level of alert (nuclear war imminent) and increasing numbers mean decreasing level of alert.
