It was Jack Olsen from the football team. Our future kicker. Good to know he can come through under high pressure situations. What’s his +/-?
The fact that Nicholson didn’t touch the court when Edey was torching us just tells us all we need to know about Collins. He has no idea what to do with his roster and it’s killed us countless times this year.I thought it was a pretty listless effort tonight. Not a lot of energy. Guys yelling at each other.
Nicholson rotting on the bench while we get dominated in the paint again.
Last in the conference in shooting percentage.
Zero points for Audige. Same as Nicholson!
No apparent game plan either.
"Okay guys, we're gonna do the same crap that hasn't worked all year!"
We need a new coach.
BTN has learned to cut to Nicholson firing his fake six-shooters toward the sky every time NU makes a three, which is a nice consolation of all his time on the bench. The fact that Nicholson didn’t touch the court when Edey was torching us just tells us all we need to know about Collins. I'm not sure there would be any other coach who would leave Nance on Edey. The away game he got into foul trouble. So, let's try it again. Yesterday, he did not get into foul trouble but there were possessions you could see him not being aggressive worried about foul trouble. It wasn't even like he had the chance to explore a mismatch on offense as Edey was not guarding him.The fact that Nicholson didn’t touch the court when Edey was torching us just tells us all we need to know about Collins. I was wondering about this watching on TV - was it CC trying to put in Nance whenever Edey was in or the other way around from Painter? If the former, that doesn't make sense. If the latter, I get it.First half stats incredibly even.
Both teams have 11 field goals, Purdue 2-9 from deep and NU 4-12. Both teams with four offensive boards, 8 TOs for Purdue and 7 for NU.
Difference is at the foul line — 8-8 for Purdue, 2-2 for NU. (6 fouls for NU, 5 for Purdue.)
Painter seems to be sticking in Edey whenever Nance is in for the Cats. I wouldn’t mind Nicholson in there against Edey.

Collins, he uses the players that admissions allow. The fact that Nicholson didn’t touch the court when Edey was torching us just tells us all we need to know about Collins. He has no idea what to do with his roster and it’s killed us countless times this year.
So who would you or a different coach have guarding Edey? And don't say Nicholson.I'm not sure there would be any other coach who would leave Nance on Edey. The away game he got into foul trouble. I don't have an answer as your question, as well as your comments, are just too incisive. So who would you or a different coach have guarding Edey? And don't say Nicholson.
Nicholson. Obviously. You have to try it. You simply cannot not try it. He's on the team. Admissions did not prevent him from playing. So who would you or a different coach have guarding Edey? And don't say Nicholson.
Winning teams know how to win.Losing teams find different ways to lose.
He’s been impactful when he’s played too. He was a big reason we beat MSU.Nicholson. Obviously. You have to try it. You simply cannot not try it. He's on the team. Admissions did not prevent him from playing.
A dumb coach did.
Yeah, I'm not saying he's our best big guy. He’s been impactful when he’s played too. He was a big reason we beat MSU.
The Unbearable Lightness of LosingSounds like Anna Karenina’s guide to basketball.
Young bangs on him a while, then Nicholson puts the body on him for a while, then young, then Nicholson etc.., but definitely not Nance. Nicholson has some beef on him and he’s a bigger body overall to lean on the giant! So who would you or a different coach have guarding Edey? And don't say Nicholson.
