I started a bit late, just about caught up. The bummer on the fumble is that Henning had broken off his route well and had settled in to an opening that n the direction that Lausch had rolled. Lausch started his scramble after he failed to see the open guy.
Two terrific catches One by Kirtz the other by Henning. Except for that one fumble which is a big except Lausch playing well coming off the ball. Looks confident back there.
Himon can go 50 and Porter can’t.
But Himon didn’t look particularly fast against this D.
Lausch is balling out, this is concrete progress
OSU is being pretty aggressive with safeties. There will be downfield opportunities, and Kirtz looks good.

This is winnnnnnable. D balled out on the first possession. Lausch has evaded pressure and has been absolutely on point. Lujan is calling a smart but aggressive game. Lots of confidence.
I was expecting no joy today, and this is lots of joy! Even if it doesn’t last… ….
There’s soooo much receiver talent. NU can handle the run but the outside guys will be real tough.
Huge opportunity here for NU. Let’s keep the punter on the bench!

Don't have to play perfect but have to play a clean game. 3 self- inflicted wounds this half.
Such a shame. I don't expect to win this game, but it sucks to be losing because of unforced errors
I hadn’t like gotten excited about winning, but that’s a disgusting way to kill the fun. Our play at center has been unacceptable all year, hideous
It was fun while it lasted. Great gameplan on O and D, gotta give the coaches and players credit. A fumble in the red zone and punt blocked at the 1 are not within the margin of error. Could have been 10-7 at this point with a chance to hold them off and a lead at halftime.
The good news is that we're still within 1 score, despite the mistakes. Otherwise, we're playing well and we're very much in this game. Let's close out the half and then play a clean 2nd half and we'll have a game.
Yes I’m aware. That’s also unacceptable, but at center it’s been continuous all year.
