Good day for NU Ball teams

Baseball team just beat Illinois 4-3 and softball leads Penn State 9-3 going into the seventh inning. Baseball team now has twice as many B10 wins as it looked like they would win this year.

And the Cats ended the weekend the right way, taking 2 of 3 from Illinois. I listened to the game online to the Illini broadcast and was gratified to hear the dispirited account from their announcer. He was disbelieving that a 3-21 team could come into the series and defeat his chosen ones.

May NU's good fortune continue.
