At least now, when we DO wear purple, it is an actual purple, not some periwinkle shade or whatever we used to get. and the purple hue seems consistent now too.I also love the Gothic uniforms. I'm wearing my Gothic-style NU hoodie right now. You guys were up in arms about white big-cat helmets against Duke and we won there. Stop believing in superstition.
We should just be happy that these uniforms actually look nice. Need I remind you it's been much worse:
As has been stated numerous times on this board the special uniforms are for the current players and potential recruits. remember a current recruit moved NU into his top two because he liked our uniforms.
I absolutely love the Goth uniforms and I love the flat black helmets with the cat on them, I also love the white helmet with the cat. The purple helmet with the N is beyond dated and ugly.

Would saying Ryan field needs updated or replaced get me a Woah also ? We can honor old traditions and start new ones. NU is on the rise, lets honor the old and start some new traditions to go along with the success we are going to have these next years.
I agree, you honor tradition . You can use them as motivation to commemorate great players and teams of the past. I love tradition, but also like starting new traditions. I love throwback uniforms too because I grew up with them. Just do everything we can to build and promote the Northwestern football program. Give everyone what they want.

Michigan is going to surprise a lot of people this year. I think the next few years they will definitely be good. I love Ryan's grass field. Just update the facilities and give it a face lift.

To be clear, when I say "Michigan sucks", it is because I despise them, like how Midvale hates all things Iowa and E-cat loathes dOSU. I lived in Michigan for 15 years, before the program fell apart, and grew to dislike the team, the baby poop M, the stupid stadium with no room to fit your butt in the seat, the obnoxious fans, etc. Then, I got the treat of living out west when the most arrogant coach that ever lived coached the Stanford Cardinals (sic), so pairing him with his baby poop and blue alma mater was just the icing in the cake. Losing to them 3 years running in hilarious fashion doesn't help.
