NFL Lineman of the Year Award?

Totally should be. And I'd like to see a day where a lineman is the first guy holding the Lombardi Trophy next to the owner and coach for the cameras and the first media question should be, how did you flatten that guy so the back didn't even get touched?
Actually should be all 5 doing it because they do it as a team. Others are individuals but the OL is more of a unit where any weak link and the whole thing breaks down no mater how good an individual is
The most under rated position in football. I agree it should be a team award. Right know I say the Eagles.
They give a team award in college for OL play, don't they?
I completely agree that it is an under rated position. Just ask any Cincinnati Bengal fan who has some of the most explosive offense weapons in the league but nothing to show for it because their OL (and defense, this year) is so bad. People would really appreciate Joe Burrow even more if they realized how god-awful the OL is that he plays behind.
Burrow makes 55$ million a year. Great leader. Great teammate. Cincy can't pay more than few other vet stud players full compensation. Cincy gm hasn't drafted the college kids well enuf. C oline and d stinks. This is why imo
Well, for starters, Cincy doesn't have an actual GM which has been a long-standing problem. We also have an ineffective and skimpy scouting department. We have one of the worst owners in sports. It's too bad because Burrow is a generational talent.
Forbes article couple years ago ranked Bengals least worth net of all nfl teams because of bad owner. Sad. Weren't the Bengals last team to be chiefs? Lost to rams in superbowl? Almost beat them next year? Amazing how dysfunctional cincy is yet tons more successful than bears. So count your blessings theC! As a bears fan I am jealous of you/cincy. At least you got the right Qb. Burrow led league with 50tds 4 int plus like 5000yds passing. Our #1 pick looks average at best. 68sacks worst oline in league. Mckaskys are pretty bad owners too!

You are right. Things are definitely much brighter in Cincy than Chicago these days, but it's hard to be optimistic that this franchise will ever get over the hump. This is a team that underwent a 15-year playoff drought in the 90s and early 2000s and a 31-year playoff win drought that ended in that SuperBowl year a couple years ago. That Rams loss in that SuperBowl was so painful because it ended on a 4th down play with the Bengals driving for the winning score. Burrow dropped back and was immediately under pressure AGAIN because of the crappy OL play and had to dump off the pass where it fell incomplete. If he was given just one more second to survey the field, replays show that Jamar Chase was just breaking open down the field and could have been hit for a likely easy TD. If Burrow just had 2.5 seconds to survey the field instead of the usual 1.5 or less.....
Sounds like you are a serious die-hard Bengals fan! At least cincy has the reds? I know the cubs won in 2016 and Sox in 2005. But ALL the chicago teams stink now! Sox worst ever. Cubs Blackhawks bulls bears and sky all stink with no real upward projectory! Glad at least we both root for nu! Last year was fun. I made it to Vegas and sacramento(2nd tourney) with my wife. Had a blast. I do wish your Bengals all the best in the coming seasons. I feel like I have pull to root more for them now with what you explained. Similar to all cleveland. Hope Burrow can win like cavs did!
While I certainly appreciate your support, I also feel like you have clearly suffered enough and so I'm not sure I'd wish the burden of Bengal fandom on you. 😆
