Great Tweet from ESPNGreeny

You mean Greeny, the same guy who predicted us to lose that game Sat?

At the same time, Greeny has been on the bandwagon after every win.

Go to the end where - around the 16:30 mark where Greeny asks for a minute to talk about the 'Cats.

Greeny does talk about the 'Cats when they are winning, but he's not a superfan like Wilbon (Greeny would definitely rather see his Jets win the SB than the 'Cats win the Rose Bowl); tho bad of Wilbon to think that Colbert was not an NU grad).

It's just amazing at the level of snobbery we have on this board. The fact that anyone would frown on BC being included on that list is beyond me. Get over yourselves people.

Not snobbery, just reality.

While the inclusion of BC is not really that big of a deal, in terms of strength of student body/admissions - there's a greater divide btwn BC and other private universities like NU, Stanford, Duke, Vandy and ND.

Rice would be there if they were in a P5 conference (as would schools like JHU, WUSTL, Carnegie Mellon, UoC that play on a lower level, if they even have a FB program).

Nonetheless, BC had been in the past a pretty tough competitor for recruits.

Carnegie-Mellon and Chicago play Division III. I know this because my grandson is a frosh on the Division III Geneva College team.

Not really. This year is the first time we have lost a kid to BC in a while.

The 'Cats have certainly turned the tide in recruiting against BC, but it wasn't that long ago when BC was consistently beating NU on recruits (back when BC had mostly 3* and a few 4* recruits and NU had mostly 2* and a few 3* recruits).

Knew that CMU and UoC play D3, not sure, however, if WSUTL has a FB program.

Academically, BC is more along the lines of the privates like USC, NYU, Tufts, etc. - all very fine schools in their own right.

So if you predict that NU will lose a game you're not allowed to celebrate if they win?
Just that he generally comes out against NU. And the other guys actually chose NU. Just find it interesting.

I went to WUSTL for grad school, and yes, they have a team. The stadium was part of the 1904 Olympics, which is also the last time anything of importance happened there. WUSTL's athletics program is a pretty good DIII one, but it just ain't the same.
