i need to block at least one poster. How do you do it?

Click on this poster's username on the lefthand side of one of their messages. This will pop up a little box for the poster, stating stats such as their join date, likes received and so on. At the top right in bold, you can click "Ignore." Done.

It's a nice feature. I recommend it.
