He said Urban Meyer will be thilled with the mistakes OSU players made, going on to say how critical it is to bring your team back to reality after a big win, and that mistakes make it possible for the coach to be critical of the team during post-game film study.

to engage in a little hyperbole, Meyer should be fired if they lose any game prior to MSU. They have more weapons on both sides of the ball than the defense department. Miller is arguably the best player in college football and he will be sharing time.

On an unrelated Herbstreit comment note, did you hear him say that it was too bad that the good teams in the BIG East aren't really playing the good teams in the BIG West. Chris Fowler then mentioned who those good BIG West teams are: "Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota ... NORTHWESTERN, who looked good in their opener".

I've been getting a kick reading out here how lucky Penn State is to have drawn Illinois and Northwestern from the west, even though both teams beat them last year.

The Cat is out of the bag. NU should be good this season. A 6-6 or worse record would/should be disappointing. Cats need to deal with the expectations and Pat was on-point yesterday about looking for Production.
