Hoke to ND?

It was reported earlier today that Hoke would be joining the ND staff as a DB coach. It has since been denied but as we know where there is smoke there could be fire.

Seems to me ND would be really lucky to get Hoke. He was a pretty stand up guy and would have some good recruiting connections with guys who fit the ND profile in the next class.

@willy - who was the source? I don't have any other info about this other than you mentioning it, but I would seriously doubt Hoke would go be a position coach at a former rival...an intense rival. Obviously I could be wrong but the dude is getting buyout money and he has a ton of head-coaching experience...just seems like it would make sense for him to take a year off and rejoin the sport as a head coach somewhere at a mid-major.
