Hopefully we dont lose any recruits

... So according to your list, fully half of CC’s schedules are weaker than any single schedule of the BC era. Sounds like we’re playing with the big boys alright!

"Fully half" would mean that 2.15 of CC's schedules are weaker than any BC schedule. Somebody else will have to explain to me the statistics that went into that deep research of how .15 of a schedule is worse because I don't care to hear your misguided horsesht.

This thread alone makes it plainly obvious you're not really into nuance or the analysis of any details. But you might want to consider whether it's worth getting your panties in a bunch over the statement that NU is "TRYING TO build a real program."

Good luck finding that big "gotcha" moment.

You seemed really down the last time you posted.

Yes. I was disappointed for the kids that CC’s meltdown cost us a tourney game.

At least he navigated handing in the lineup successfully that night!

Ah, I see you're still a bit glum. That's a shame. I know a guy who knows a guy who does at-home electroconvulsive therapy if you're interested. It might help with the mood swings.

Or you could just try to...

Just when did that happen?

Before the TTU game. Texas Tech shot a FT and it was 1-0 Tech before the game began.
Guess I didn't realize that GT was a tourney game. Does anyone know who is actually responsible for turning in the line-up? An assistant coach? Student manager? I realize it all falls on the HC but I'm sure he doesn't turn the line-up card in. Does it have to be signed?

Without denying its existence on the team, selfishness had nothing to do with Lindsey and Falzon going 0-12 from 3.
Selfishness may be found in between. I cant entirely refute the claim that our new poster commented on. Actually, im somewhat intrigued by the comment of the newbie since i know that we are certainly underperforming and have so much more to offer. Wouldnt you be so kind to agree?

You missed a fun recruiting season for NU - they have the 22nd ranked class with 3 highly rated recruits who actually had offers from major programs. How was the HC offseason - any international gems in this class?

So you’re saying CC is scheduling the “big boys” now vs the BC days.

As evidence you cite his 4 non conference strengths of schedule so far.

326 out of 350
349 out of 350
349 out of 350
249 out of 350.

I can only say WOW!

You’d make a good replacement when Sara Sanders gets the boot.

Just simply incredible.

Pro tip; many games are scheduled YEARS in advance,. How many of those game do you think CC was responsible for scheduling, and how many did YOU had a hand in scheduling, Coach C?

Another Mystic fail.

In Collins year 4 I expect that he had a hand in all of the games on the 2017-18 schedule. This is not football.

How's Holy Cross doing? What's their record?

Yes, but Mystic was not arguing that. The 2017-18 schedule is MUCH tougher (#140 KenPom, and the Illini didn't help much), AND CC no doubt had a hand in that. The prior schedules, which Mystic cited, were Coach Carmody's aka Mystic's schedules.

They traveled all the way to Northern Ireland to get smoked by Manhattan (#221) when they could have been smoked by Manhattan right here in the states. Wonder how many years before Holy Cross decides that BC/Mystic is not the right coach to get them from point Z to point Y....

It's sad and grotesquely twisted for someone who's only purpose for posting on these boards is to put down the program. Just pathetic.

It's not even a person. Mystic is a dopey pro-Carmody troll account Unfortunately, they have these accounts on every board. Just ignore or make fun of the trolling, whatever floats your boat.

Just think, "Football". We go through this early season hiccups with BB and Football every year. We have a good nucleus and we should be right up there competing in the Bigten. Maybe not with MSU but I think we have equal chances with any of the other top programs in the big.
MSU may not have much a big time program left, after the FBI probe finishes.

Actually, CC had a decent amount of input in the OOC schedules early in his tenure - he wanted to ease his team into competition - playing w/ a new scheme and a thinner roster (and to help them gain confidence).

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I don’t remember BC scheduling any D II teams like CC9P did.

LOL.

We’re certainly playing the Big Boys now!
