I'm Not Crying, You're Crying

Watching Barnhizer of the bench on Tuesday, I had what might be a fun idea. If he's up for it, how fun would it be for him to spend one of the last few home games just as a fan sitting with his friends among the Wild Side? He could go all superfan, riling up the crowd, cheering for his buddies. I picture him in a crazy hat or something, screaming at opposing free throw shooters trying to win a free chicken sandwich. It would be a unique undergrad experience for Brooks. It would be fun for the fans who have supported him over the years. You know he'd get a bunch of camera time from BTN. Only if he wants to, of course. He may feel that he should support his teammates form the bench, but it would be fun as hell.

Definitely would like Brooks to be entered into final home game and then taken out immediately for a senior night ovation that he deserves. Even if he is wearing a boot. He deserves that ovation.

I remember when Kansas did that for a player long ago and I think the guy even got a shot off.

I like the Wildside idea more though.

Based on the press conferences, I suspect Collins will keep him on the bench use this time training Brooks up for a future coaching position.
