During the Fitz years, NU did very well recruiting Illinois. It seemed we got most of the kids we wanted, those who could qualify academically. Highlighted by Thorson & JJTBC, both in state 4 star recruits. Now, it seems Bielema is on a roll, especially instate. Has Illinois surpassed us with instate recruiting? I’d like to know what “recruiting gurus” on the board think. And perhaps Lou V could weigh in on this….
