I finally got a chance to talk to new NU commit Xander Mueller -- who, as you would imagine, is one happy dude.
He told me that he is coming back for an official visit on May 17-19. That's when a few top prospects will be on campus, too -- Garnett Hollis and Josh Priebe among them. Coach Tim McGarigle told Mueller that just about all of the 2020 commits will be in that weekend for their officials, as well. I already confirmed that TeRah Edwards will be there.
This obviously represents a new tactic for NU. They have always done their big commitment official visit weekend in December. It looks like they're going to do it for the early commits in the spring now.
