I talked to Pa. RB Nicholas Singleton yesterday. NU is clearly one of his early favorites. He says that Coach Ayeni has been Zooming with him on a regular basis and that NU is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest. He added that NU will be one of the first schools he visits once the dead period is lifted. He was planning to visit for a spring practice before COVID hit.
Singleton is 112th in the Rivals250, so his offer list is impressive. The other schools he said are showing the most love are Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Florida and South Carolina. So yeah, it’s gonna be tough.
I know that NU feels like they’re very much in the mix for Singleton, as well as fellow four-star RB Gavin Sawchuk of Colorado, the No. 59 player in the nation. I haven’t been able to reach him yet.
