This team has five dynamite starters with Martinelli and Barnhizer leading the way. What they don't have is a consistent 3 point shooter, which so many other good teams seem to have, and beat us with that. Is there someone on the roster who can fill that role? Berry and Barnhizer don't seem to be the ones.

If they had 5 dynamite starters it wouldn't matter but they are closer to 2.5 at that level. Barney, Martinelli are solid with Leach about 50% of the time. Too much inconsistency with the others . Berry has not found himself (and is supposed to be that 3 pt threat)and MN is a solid D presence but O is again limited and inconsistent

It interesting to me that in the comments from the game, Brooks acknowledged he's been playing injured all season.

Figures. It took him till 5th game to get out of the boot, Again recently he has not been as aggressive and driving. Today was another example. Settling for way too many outside shots. Without his working inside we are not the same team

It was nearly impossible to work inside against this Michigan team. They were huge. This is why Leach was soooo important in this game.
