KAH=GOAT

Kinda mind-boggling that a KAH-led program went a decade (not counting the Covid year) w/o a Natty.

More mind-boggling is that NU has had the 2 greatest coaches in women's collegiate lax.

Should be favorites to win it all next season.

Next season - depends on goalie. Can make all the difference in the world (see Maryland goalie) and ours graduates this year.
But yes, Kelly is the GOAT, perhaps for all NU coaches eveer.

As college coaches go, KAH is in the same conversation with John Wooden, Nick Saban, Pat Summit and Geno Auriemma. That places her historically well above any other NU coach. Add in her playing career, and she may have no peer in the history of college sports. Imagine Fitz approaching 10 national championships in his coaching career at NU. That's KAH.

The incredible thing is that she started the team from scratch. I still remember the story about her driving up Sheridan Road and seeing two tall, athletic women running up the sidewalk. She stopped and invited them to come play for her... and they contributed. She revolutionized the sport of women's lax (and became known as head of the "Evit Empire"!).

GOAT indeed

Seems like the team needs a lot more than just a goalie for next year. There's quite a few attackers and defensive players who are all grad or seniors. Fortunately we have Taylor back
