There is no more spin for this anymore. It’s time to be concerned that a DC hasn’t been hired. Is there another P5 program that had a HC/OC/DC open in the first week that hasn’t been filled? I don’t care about Fitz’s “processes” because the game has changed. We have an early signing day and the transfer portal is wide open. I don’t care that we have a full staff of coaches, kids want to know who there DC is going to be. We’re playing behind and hiding behind a “process” that hasn’t yielded a successful Coordinator hire since 2008.
Does anyone think Wisconsin lands this OU transfer without having Longo in place? If we actually were in the running for Hampton, not getting it signed immediately allowed Arkansas to swoop in once they had an opening.
