Law sideline play

Everyone is convinced that the officials have it out for them. It's what fans do.

Obviously there are bad calls, and obviously coaches like Izzo are less likely to get technical fouls than conference rookies. There are some improvements that probably should be made. I'm just pointing out that suddenly that's not an issue because we've won 5 out of 6 games -- and if there really was a conspiracy against us, as some were alleging during our streak of close wins, that would still be an issue even when we were winning.

The Iowa fans even go so far as to say the refs routinely favor NU (not just against Iowa) because the league wants so badly for Chris Collins to succeed. One can only assume such Iowa fans did not watch the games during the 10-game losing streak when NU caught no breaks from the refs other than bad ones--including some howlers the TV guys are still talking about a few months later.
