Ii seems guard Darius Thompson is the latest to announce his decision to transfer, joining two other teammates. Apparently DT could play immediately next season as a grad student.
I haven' checked whether any of the mentioned players looks like a good fit at NU.
None of them will want to play in a 6,800 seat refurbished urban renewal gym.
DT apparently had an offer from Vandy, which suggests that out of HS he was viewed as a strong student. He also had offers from Purdue and Virginia. He spent a year at Tenn before transferring to UVa. Sounds as if he would qualify academically at NU, if he has done well as a student at UVa, in case the coaching staff felt he could help next season.
