UTEP finished 0-12 last season.

They just opened this season, with a new coach, by losing at home by 20 to FCS Northern Arizona. They are terrible, worse than the pessimists feared. They won't be favored to win another game this year; they might have a chance against their rival NMSU, but that's it.

Just something to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.

Speaking of streaks, FAU got killed today, which means NU now has the second-longest active streak (behind UCF).

It would take a miner miracle for them to break our streak, ore, to put it another way, I wouldnt Pick them to break it.

Even Dorothy can escape Kansas with a win. I think they should drop their football program to FCS

NU has only itself to blame for still holding the record. Duke was on course to break it a few seasons back and then beat NU to end their losing streak.

Even if NU won, Duke would have broken their streak before it reached 34 games.

It turned out that way, but there was still irony in the fact that we lose to the team that was trying to break our own streak. Besides, maybe losing to NU would have demoralized Duke so much that they wouldn't have won the later game. :)

Exactly. Wins like that can change the outlook and performance of the remainder of the season. It was a terrible loss and a huge win for Duke.
