Pat Fitzgerald defended Michigan State against numerous accusations of negligence in the Dr. Larry Nasser case.

Fitzgerald wrote the state’s attorney general that “While many in the community today wish that they had identified Nassar as a predator, we believe the evidence in this case will show that no one else at M.S.U. knew that Nassar engaged in criminal behavior.”

There is a power imbalance at play (wealthy Big Ten football coach). He reached out to her in his capacity as head coach and asked her to speak to the team. It is not appropriate for somebody in his role to pursue a romantic relationship with somebody in her position, even if he thought it was consensual.

I think all the actors in this thing will get what they deserve and none will be ruined. He has millions and will coach again. She will continue to make millions on book deals and lectures and never be trusted by a coach or invited into a revenue sport locker room again.

Curious that both parties deleted all their text messages. I doubt there are any innocent parties involved.

My son is at Michigan State so I got the email that the University President sent out to the community. So, MSU decided to bring in an outside, third party to investigate after their internal investigation. The October 4th and 5th dates were the dates agreed upon by all parties. I'm guessing that is discrepancy between the two dates you listed.

I'm not sure what you do if you're the university. On the one hand, you could argue that they should have come out with this right away, but on the other hand, if Tucker is not entirely guilty, then it wouldn't be fair to drag this out into the public until the investigation is complete. Of course, maybe you could predict that someone would leak it to the press, but still.. it's a no win situation for the university.

Which coach files a lawsuit first - Tuck or PF? Which one gets more money??

Cappy deleted entire threads about Carl Richardson and let’s this stand? Not sure why Carl is protected and off limits, but it gets censored for some reason and this is allowed to spiral out of control. Delete the whole thread or let it stand , Coach!

Probably because Carl Richardson fancies himself a private citizen (since he didn't go public with his allegations, or at least he didn't publicly associate his name with them) and I think the board officially has a stance against attacking such people. I presume he doesn't enjoy such protections on The Rock since there seems to have been much discussion of his alleged recordings and other little tidbits (like the roommates) that leaked from there.

Again, I am not constantly checking the board every 10 minutes to see who has started acting up, so if it takes a while for something to get removed, that's likely the reason. Threads about CR, especially on the free board, which are created to shit on him, are not necessary at this point, and will continue to be removed.
