I think it's more likely you think you had pretty good sightlines but haven't sat in a more modern stadium and seen how being fully 100 feet closer to the field thanks to modern architecture makes a radical difference. You just don't know what you're missing, basically. SIghtlines will be something that you'll find as an insane change.

What price glory? Joining “the new era” was not obligatory. NU could have (may still) lead the preservation of the B1G as a counter to the NFL minor leagues that are rapidly emerging. Are the stadiums at Purdue, Michigan State, Iowa and other places that aren’t going to make the Final Cut that much better than RF?
