I would move both Wisconsin and Illinois down one spot. I think Minnesota is better than many believe. Minnesota had their "Michigan" game against us.

I think we will determine a lot this week when Nebraska @ Minnesota. Do the Golden Gophers make it three in a row over the Cornhuskers?

For the West I would have Wisconsin and Northwestern tied for 2nd followed by Minnesota (based on their come back win this week after being shut out by NU) followed then by Nebraska at 5th (all of their losses have been on the cusp of being wins) with Illinois and Purdue tied for the last two slots at #6.

For the East I would have Ohio State at #1 though I agree a case could be made for their being tied with Michigan at the top. Michigan State certainly deserves the third spot despite their penchant for close wins. The next three (Penn State, Rutgers and Indiana) I would put in a three way tie for fourth with Maryland taking the last slot at #7.

Definitely more parity than we have seen in the past.
