For those living outside Chicago area you might not be aware of some of the looney toons politics going on in the south suburbs. You really can't make some of this stuff up. Last night he really put himself in the center of it. News coverage was pretty hilarious.

I'd vote for n Harris in a heartbeat. Brilliant dude. Awesome linebacker for nu! One of the best ever. Tough guy too. Played in nfl for a while. I remember several years ago some guy tried to mug him and napoleon beat the snot out of him. I loved watching him play

I recall him playing a bit of basketball as well. A fan favorite in WR whenever he stepped on the court.

I don't know enough about what's going on in the Township to know if that was a sketchy process or not, but clearly within that crowd Henyard is quite unpopular.

He was a 6’3” power forward and a rebounding machine. Only played his frosh year.

Don’t know much about his politics, but Heyward has been a media trainwreck, so it’s no surprise Harris is favored by the people.

Illinois politics is weird. Harris is a state Senator and his opponent is the existing supervisor AND the mayor of another city. So people are holding multiple elected offices? I have no idea what’s going on with you people.

Yes henyard is the superintendant or supervisor of Thornton and mayor of Harvey. (I may have that in reverse) so she has naturally dubbed herself the the Super Mayor. Don’t think she realizes It’s a noun, not an adjective.

I was in San Antonio for the bowl game. We were in the official hotel. We got in a in "sub" elevator floor (hotel parking) so we had go up past the lobby floor stop and sure enough - ping - at the lobby level the door opens. Cool, of course I expected it. But in comes Napo - he was HUGE. Jeez it was like - can the rest of you leave the elevator - size.

Great guy from what I understand. Good for him for doing public service after his short spell in the NFL. Not gonna comment on politics, I am very glad this board has a strict no politics policy, but I am grateful of his service, good for him. Wish we had more like him, Democrat and Republican.
