The NCAA should be embarrassed by the performance of the home plate umpire in the deciding game of the championship. Players at this level have a very good idea of the strike zone but can adjust to an ump that calls the outside corner or the low strike. The umpire took the bat out of the kid,s hands by calling pitches a foot outside, inside etc . I would love to see the balloon chest protector come back so the ump could stand directly behind home plate.and call inside and outside pitches much better. They might be a little off low but anything would be better than last week's umps performance

I also think they should be embarrassed that the season goes on and on 2 months after most colleges are out for the year. It's ridiculous.
