I know there's Lunardi and a gaggle of people offering their opinion on these things, but I thought I'd focus on the Big Ten...

Michigan State (7, 7) - conference champs. Izzo. Deserve a 1 seed but will likely get a 2.
Maryland (11, 10) - Solid starting 5. Blowout of Illinois boosts ranking. 3-4 seed.
Wisconsin (12, 16) - Slipped with Max Klesmit missing recent games. 4 seed.
Purdue (18, 18) - 4 game losing streak shows vulnerability. 5 seed.
Illinois (21, 18) - 12-8 and 20-11 overall. 7 seed.
UCLA (23, 29) - 13-7 and 22-9 overall. 6 seed.
Oregon (30, 31) - 12-8 and 23-8 overall. 8 seed.
Michigan (31, 28) - 14-6 and 22-9 overall. Polls like them. 5 seed.
Ohio State (39, 38) - 9-11 and 17-14 overall. On wrong side of bubble.
Indiana (46, 39) - 10-10 and 19-12 overall. 11 seed.

For what its worth, I have NU at about 55th, approximately equal with Nebraska.

I'd put North Carolina (43, 47) in ahead of Ohio State and Indiana. UNC is 13-7 and 20-12 in the ACC. Tied for 4th.

I would not put Oklahoma in the NCAA field. Oklahoma was 6-12 in the SEC. You can't reward that.
I would take Xavier ahead of them. Xavier 13-7 in Big East.
In the Mountain West, San Diego State, Colorado State, Utah State and Boise State are tightly bunched near the bubble. Take two of those.

Well after dOSU loses does that give us a shot if we beat WIS?

If the cats pull an upset tomorrow, is there a tournament bid discussion?
THat would have us going 5-2 down the stretch after losing 40% of our starters, O etc. dOSU who they think is in is 2-5 down the stretch. Their last three wins are USC, Wash and Neb at home. Ans we would have had basically the same number of BIG wins. (our NEB loss sure hurts)

The Washington and Nebraska losses are killers.
9-11 in the regular season with a couple BTT wins would have had us right there.

As it stands, we have to win the tournament to make the NCAA field.
But we're not dead yet...

Wow collins was very feisty in his postgame interview. Some might say he was whining but I like it. You cannot remain silent when you keep getting screwed.
In the postgame?
Refs missed a couple early, but I thought they were not a factor.
Or is he still pissed about Martinelli not being first team?
Or the hotel?

He went all out.
Commented on officiating all year.
Repeatedly complained about the big ten sticking them in the hot hotel. Stopped just short of insinuating there was like a conspiracy. Haven’t seen him do that this year.

Btw let’s somehow win tomorrow and we will basically have a home game on Friday vs UCLA. Even the non nu fans in attendance will be rooting for us. No one is traveling from CA to Indy for the big ten tournament.
Yup. Was saying the same thing to someone else. Plus, I bet at least 1,000 NU fans come into Indy given it would be a Friday game and hotels will be plentiful from the losing teams.
