BadgerBlitz - Former four-star QB Nick Evers will transfer from Wisconsin

Wisconsin quarterback Nick Evers announced that he will enter the transfer portal.

Should we pursue this guy? On the one hand, he’s a former 4-star qb who has not yet proven himself in college, and we haven’t had very good luck in that regard recently. But on the other hand he’s potentially a dynamic player who could have a huge impact. Look at his Hudl video from high school. He was very good.

WE need to become QB U where coach Braun can truly call this a developmental program, and we can recruit 3-4 star qbs that know they can learn and even start before they become juniors/seniors. This reliance on the portal on a continuous basis reeks of a program that can't develop quarterbacks and I am sure some of these kids are paying attention to that. We have a dynamic new coaching staff, I say let's see what they can do.
