I guess I'm glad the Aztecs are in the NIT- I get to watch 2 more games at San Diego State's Viejas Arena. Tomorrow SDSU plays at late game vs Washington with an 8:30 start. I'm glad I'm retired now and don't have to get up early the next day to go to work. The Aztecs have been spotty all year playing in a weak Mountain West conference that has been steadily sliding downhill since BYU, Utah and TCU left for greener pastures.
Disappointed in BigTen teams in the big dance but did enjoy watching Indiana beat Kentucky yesterday in a very good game. Michigan State's loss in the first round was a shock. Izzo's teams are usually primed to go far in the tournament.
