No legs

Just looked like they did not have the energy today.
They looked and played totally burned out. Missing shots short, not jumping for rebounds and falling down without any contact. Sure signs of a tired team. Rest up and win a few meaningful games in 'The Tournament".

Well, we did kinda look like Lieutenant Dan out there today. Just today, mind you.

The game against Maryland was very physical and ended around 11PM. It was also a nice emotional win with the big crowd rooting for Maryland and the Cats able to silence them. It was the second game in two nights. I know they are young and physically fit but I am pretty sure the players didn't get the ability to let their bodies recover. That is ok if your opponent is in the same boat, but Wisconsin had only played one game, the earlier game against Indiana. I also think Wisc had more on the line than the Cats. We had beaten them in their own building, showed others how to beat them, and started their skid. Yes, we learned it from Nebraska but while Nebraska could not win with it, we did and that made other teams copy the formula. If Wisc were to lose to us a second time, we would have probably pushed them down to an 7-8 seed. So they came out all energized and they had corrected the weakness we exploited in our first meeting.

Actually, I think Wisconsin will do well in the NCAA tourney and they have us to thank. Up until our meeting, they had been sleepwalking through the league and chalking up wins but not getting any better. Then we hit them in their weak spot. The other teams, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, used our formula and beat them too. So, Wisconsin had to change their offense and is now a much better team. They should beat Michigan tomorrow (Michigan has got to be tired) and probably get a 6 seed (maybe 5). I think we are sitting on an 8-9 seed.

I think that it's crazy that they play back to back to back games and get back to the hotel after midnight to play a mid-afternoon game. It's all to make more money so I don't put a lot of stock in it.

If Wisconsin does well in the tournament, they'll hardly have us to thank for it.
