I can see why we declined to participate in these tournaments. BTW, had Holy Cross not made it to the NCAA with their automatic bid, they wouldn't have even qualified for this. Effing bid thief. Another reason to hate Carmody (just kidding).

What about the Vegas 16? Was that a better field? I'm too lazy to look it up.

The Vegas 16 ended up being the Vegas 8 with 8 mid-major teams. They couldn't even get 16 to show up and couldn't get a big conference team to bite.

I believe 0 power conference teams chose to play in the CBI or Vegas tournaments. The CIT does not invite power conference teams.
