Speaking on behalf of the University, Board of Trustees member Hugh Janus stated,"As a leading institution always in the vanguard, Northwestern has decided to no longer ask our alumni for more money. We believe that our alumni are the most loyal and intelligent in the country and will continue to donate money without being solicited. We have decided that it is not right to continue hoarding our large endowment fund while continually asking for more money. We have decided to start spending some of that money on improvements instead. What difference does it make if we have 8 billion or 10 billion. You can't take it with you anyway, can you."

Not if you're NU Board of Trustees member, Hugh Janus, close relation of former NU OT, Paul Janus.

Sorry, Glades, That is not correct.

However his wife is the sister of former trustee, Helen Bedd. If you saw her you would agree that she looks like Helen Bedd.

Oh, God.

Apparently you've been released. I'm wondering though, if a ransom was needed.

Actually it was a reverse ransom. The alumni captors voluntarily contributed funds to Northwestern without being solicited.

Exactly what FloridAlum did or said to motivate his captors to distance themselves from his presence remains secret, but suffice it to say it was an April Fools' con of such mammoth proportions that by comparison "The Sting" looks like child's play.
